Hawaii has anything and everything that any couple may want from their honeymoon destination and it is most definitely one of the best spots for a romantic getaway in the whole world. While all of the main islands are gorgeous and luxurious, Kauai is recommended for honeymooners due to the island’s spectacular vistas, secluded beaches and beautiful snorkeling spots. Other recommended islands within Hawaii that are ideal for a romantic getaway include Lana’I, Oahu, The Big Island and Maui.

San Diego

If you are looking for a honeymoon in the city, San Diego is the best spot for that within the state of California, and especially so for the famous San Diego Honeymoon Resorts that are as beautiful as they are luxurious. There’s also the La Jolla beach for you and your partner to relax at while soaking up some sun, or you can take a ride on the Gondola at the Coronado Cays. Martha’s Vineyard

Martha’s Vineyard is a posh, summer island in Massachusetts, just off the south of Cape Cod. Keep in mind that this is one of those places that not everyone can afford, especially since celebs and even the ex-American President visit the island often. If you are looking to spend time with your partner on a luxurious beach that’s set on a gorgeous island with a laidback and relaxed lifestyle, it doesn’t get much better than Martha’s Vineyard.

Lake Tahoe

In case you had been looking at the beautiful natural sceneries in the Philippines or Bali and thinking that you need to go outside the country to find something similar, then you are wrong. The stunning and mesmerizing Lake Tahoe lies right on the California and Nevada border, which will instantly captivate you the second you lay your eyes on the region. The combination of the blue, green, turquoise and white is dazzling. The place reminds one of the Scandinavian landscapes, especially because of the blue-green mountains with white snow caps in the background.

Spending your honeymoon within the country saves money and the United States is a very big and diverse land mass that has so many things to offer to honeymooners that you won’t really miss out on anything.
